Family Health Centers

Family Health Centers offer a wide variety of healthcare, dental, and behavioral health services to the Greater Louisville area through their 7 locations.
Their new 2011 branding not only was centered around a new design but research on their existing patient base and employees to identify their needs and expectations. Our rebranding campaign with stretch from the new logo and wordmark for the corporate identity through designations for each location, into a completely revamped web presence and marketing for the future.

STEP It Up! (S.T.E.P. = Success Through Energetic Participation) taught girls the importance of being physically active.

Make It a Hit! taught girls to be star performers following the 5 "acts" of cookie sale success.

Imagine If… we could change the world taught girls to become leaders and set an additional goal other than their cookie sale goal to make a difference in the world through a service project.

Inspired By U is a motivational theme for girls to become leaders and set an example for others in the world.

It included a series of motivational eGrams embedded with past recipients video along with a personalized mailer that included a notepad for the applicant.

The 2006 "Be Brilliant" campaign taught girls that science is fun. Girls became cook-e-ologists concocting fun food experiments and exploring possible careers as scientists or food lab technicians. We designed a recognitions product line for girls, motivating them to meet their cookie sale goals. A Girl Scout Council Kit was created containing the materials and tools to ensure a successful cookie season for girls and volunteers.

The 2007 "STEP it up!" campaign taught girls the importance of being physically active. We created STEP, Success Through Energetic Participation, and promoted walkathons for girls to count their steps to success. Girl's energy was depicted through dance, hula-hooping and stretching throughout the campaign materials. The recognition awards we designed, including a fun dance mat, encouraged the girls and volunteers to "STEP it up!"

The 2008 "Make it a Hit!" campaign taught girls to be star performers. Along with the variety of materials we develop every year, we created "Cookie Q Cards". This set of training cards was created for volunteers to teach the five "acts" of cookie sale success. We also scripted and directed "Cookies the Musical", a theater performance based on the five "acts", providing an energizing cookie selling activity.

The 2009 "Imagine If… we could change the world" campaign taught girls to become leaders and make a difference in the world through a service project. Girls set an additional goal, other than their cookie sale goal, to support a service project of their choice. Activity Kits were developed for volunteers and customized for each Girl Scout level. The kits contained age appropriate activities teaching girls leadership skills and all they needed to know about the cookie activity. Materials were produced in English and Spanish.

Each year, we design communications to show Girl Scout councils how to promote new varieties of Girl Scout Cookies. The promotional packages always include press releases, promotional ideas, cookie ads and more.

The Lemon Chalet Cremes Girl Scout cookie was inspired by "Our Chalet" one of the four World Centres of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) in Switzerland. This travel themed promotion was inspired by real Girl Scouts who have visited "Our Chalet" and included postcards from those girls.

Marmon-Herrington offers the installation of commercial truck chassis to all-wheel drive. Their full range of axles and transfer cases are used in certain trucks including specialized military vehicles. We designed and photographed this ad, including image manipulation. It was featured on the back cover of the National Defense magazine. To represent the capability of this specific axle and its great use for military vehicles, we art directed to show the truck's ability to handle rough and uneven terrain.

TARC stands for Transit Authority of River City and is the metropolitan mass transit system for Louisville, Kentucky. The Fare Saver Monthly Pass provides a discount for frequent bus riders. We photographed real bus drivers to promote the Fare Saver ticket. We also created a short animated TV commercial.

The 2010 "A better world . . . Inspired by U" cookie sales campaign taught Girl Scouts to develop their leadership skills and set an active example for others. Real girls' service projects and accomplishments from across the nation were highlighted to inspire girls to set higher goals and achieve them. The tiered awards program included tie dyed heart graphics, artistic global t-shirt, Mama and Miranda panda set and tech fashion tools. All items were tested to meet Kellogg's safety standards.

We designed the Street Squad website to encourage increased communication between the Restaurant Service Coordinators, and the restaurants. The website consisted of a blog, a place to post videos and a section to display featured stories. Following KFC standards, we gave this website an edgy, urban look with exposed bricks and graffiti.

We designed and programmed the KFC Learning Zone web pages to communicate to franchisees about the online courses and on-the-job training that KFC offers. We developed a Flash introduction with paint splatters, music and fading type to engage the viewer. We also provided user-friendly charts and an interactive PDF.

It is updated regularly to showcase the annual Girl Scout Cookie Program theme, new tools, technology and training. We also created and designed the girl programs and communication materials within the website, as well as the coordinating print.

This colorful, animated and engaging site was created to help Girl Scouts learn about safety and goal setting in a safe, fun environment. Adult volunteers set up their Girl Scout Troop, and then their girls can login. Before girls can fully use the system they must pass an online interactive quiz that ensures they understand the safety rules associated with online behavior. Once the troop is set up the adult volunteer can track and monitor their activities through a secured online interface. Girls get to track their sales against their personal goal. A different design was created for older girls as well.

A sample of what we can do for your company and the quickly expanding mobile market. In early 2010, our site was Flash-only and completely inaccessible to most mobile devices. Now, visitors to our site are served different versions depending on the device they are using. For laptops and desktops with larger screens, they see the normal site. For iPhone and Blackberry users we have prepared this streamlined mobile site sized for their smaller displays.

This colorful youthful site was created in mid-2010 for GLI's Close The Deal Program. This program is designed to deliver information to students who may be the first in their family to attend college. It collects various information in a central location for the students and their parents. It has an additional area for high school counselors to communicate and share information between each other to help facilitate moving as many students as possible along the track to higher education.

This project was much more than just a realignment of their web property, as we first provided an entire new brand identity package, copywriting, staff photography, and more. This InTouch Kiosk was installed in Jewish Hospitals throughout the Louisville area. The design reflects the brand identity of InTouch and displays specific service level in which it would be used. All hospital employees, from janitors to doctors, would be able to review their benefits and fill prescriptions. The eye-catching photography was used to complement the hospital's environment by using a collage of the hospital's employee's.

The technology booth for the KFC Frachisee Conference in 2008 was designed with an urban look that KFC had just launched. We tied the look throughout all the booth panels and created specialized posters to feature some of the new technologies that KFC was introducing to franchisees.

We were challenged to create a team building activity for twelve hundred Restaurant General Managers (RGMs). We designed a display of 12 collages that were sliced into 100 pieces each. Each piece was double sided, displaying just a piece of the collage on one side and questions on the other side. The pieces were distributed strategically to each table and every piece had a code so they would know where to place it on the display's grid. After the 1,200 RGMs placed their pieces onto the glass display, one side revealed the collage and the other side spelled out "Greatness begins with me!" while you could read all the great things the RGMs wrote.

This Little Brownie Bakers booth was created for the Girl Scout Sales Product Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The Girl Scout Cookie Activity theme we developed that year was "Make it a Hit!" We created posters with marquee lights to display different aspects of the program and placed them along a red carpet. We also played the "Cookies The Musical" DVD, a stage musical written and produced for the campaign on a large screen.

A concession stand was at the end of the booth where Girls Scout Cookies were served.

Robinson Nugent designs, manufactures and markets electronic devices. The company's products include integrated circuit sockets, connectors used in board to board, wire to board, and wire to wire applications. All their products are very small parts. We designed a custom display for trade shows that would showcase these small connectors in a grand way. There were large illuminated graphic panels and headers, as well as a white illuminated tabletop displaying the small connectors.

We re-branded Bank of Louisville years ago to enhance their image. Eventually the bank was sold to BB&T, which was one of the company's rebranding goals. When we developed the identity system, we designed a comprehensive signage system that would work on existing signage structures in addition to creating brand sign structures. The entire package contained more that 15 different interior and exterior signs, site plans and several color renderings for each branch. Bank of Louisville had about 40 branches in the Louisville and North Oldham County area.

This cookie features real, premium cranberries providing a delightful tartness in a hearty cookie sweetened with creamy white fudge chips.
